Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Arvidsson in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Arvidsson's late challenge caught a FC Pepsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 37thth minute of the game Håkan Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melchester Rovers's Jörgen Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Arvidsson to make the kick off. Sven-Arne Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Sundin in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Bo Pååk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jörgen Lundqvist. Bo Pååk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Andréas Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tony Aronsson hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Anundsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörgen Lundqvist. Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joar Pi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Jonathan Pi fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
