In the 3rd minute, Rocky Shirley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the game, Wilmer McLain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ladonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waialua the free kick. Waialua's Erik Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Willett in the 10th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Jeff Willett notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Waialua's Erik Cabrera. Erik Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 24 minutes, Florian Pritchett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Pritchett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jermaine Sexton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casey Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Lawson in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Lawson in the 34th minute of play forced Ladonia's goalkeeper Casey Barr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Singer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Casey Barr made a huge save. Bruce Singer came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Casey Barr could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruce Singer got free with Casey Barr in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casey Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Lawson in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Willett in the 45th minute of play forced Waialua's goalkeeper Erik Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Waialua players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ladonia were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Rich Lawson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Richard Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes, Waialua's Isaiah Cotton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casey Barr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waialua reached it. Casey Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Ladonia booed when Waialua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Bowman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeff Willett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Cabrera came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeff Willett slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ladonia's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Singer came free, but Casey Barr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Willetts short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Erik Cabrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ladonia's Florian Pritchett got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Betts came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rich Lawson in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Florian Pritchett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ladonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waialua the free kick. In the 74th minute, Florian Pritchett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Rich Lawson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Casey Barr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladonia's Florian Pritchett has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Lawson in the 86th minute of play forced Ladonia's goalkeeper Casey Barr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladonia's Casey Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rich Lawson in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Rich Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Barr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cliff Hatcher hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ladonia played a much better game than Waialua and deserved their victory. The Waialua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
