The Barrio Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 温竞海 should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Macho Madrigal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. 温竞海 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julian Gaueko hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 温竞海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Medina in the 40th minute of play. Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 潘飞梁 in the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Barrio Mexico booed when PUNTARENENSE F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrey Panfilov made a kick off.
