An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 18th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 23 minutes, Omar Guevara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CS La Libertad and the OROTINENSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Omar Guevara. In the 26th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Talamanca to maneuver through the defense. İbrahim Efe Ergener hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Songurhan Mete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Monge made a huge save. OROTINENSE were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after CS La Libertad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Talamanca took the corner. Luis Marin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ernesto Monge, a very annoying self made goal in the 33rd minute which led to 2-0. In the 36th minute, OROTINENSE's Songurhan Mete ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's İbrahim Efe Ergener got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match İbrahim Efe Ergener shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Liu Yong Yong showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Songurhan Mete made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play CS La Libertad's Omar Guevara was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rodrigo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Miguel Volio replaced Agustin Barrantes. In the 72nd minute, Rodrigo Lobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS La Libertad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. OROTINENSE's Minor Talamanca was substituted for Juraj Múdry. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Iordache Opincaru replaced Songurhan Mete. Minor Talamanca scored 5-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Monge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
