In the 7th minute Connor Schreiner suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Horado Arreguia charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horado Arreguia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horado Arreguia hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Tirso Melon fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prosperidad's protests and gave Tirso Melon a yellow card for diving instead. Tirso Melon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Garcia Reguero had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Waldir Martel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tirso Melon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperidad's supporters rose to their feet, but Tirso Melon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bazkoare Torrecilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Prosperidad's Tirso Melon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bazkoare Torrecilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Celso Fornell charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Fornell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crows booed when Prosperidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Fornell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tirso Melon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Crows got a freekick which was hit by Pere Caño. In the 38th minute, Mederi Gamez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Loayza in the 42nd minute of play forced Prosperidad's goalkeeper Garcia Reguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pere Caño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Prosperidad defense, Pere Caño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garcia Reguero. The Prosperidad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garcia Reguero should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Prosperidad's Paulino Matos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bazkoare Torrecilla. Mateus Lamboy made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pere Caño immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Loayza in the 72nd minute of play forced Prosperidad's goalkeeper Garcia Reguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tirso Melon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bazkoare Torrecilla. That made the score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. Paulino Matos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, Crows's Waldir Martel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Garcia Reguero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crows reached it. Crows's Pere Caño got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Prosperidad booed when Crows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pere Caño didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Prosperidad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
