In the 34th minute, Andres Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Ciano in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Cristo Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristo Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Ciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
