The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adan Onofre hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Samuel Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MONSTERS's Benjamin Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cesario in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Alonzo Cesario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Lobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benjamin Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Ubarna in the 13th minute of the match. Adan Llope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Lobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Alonzo Cesario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Pichu F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in MONSTERS's zone, Alonzo Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Lobo came out of the goal and Alonzo Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Pichu F.C. were furious when Cirilo Banegas was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 26 played minutes El Pichu F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Banegas. After having played for 27 minutes, Honorato Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONSTERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the El Pichu F.C. defense, Raul Barea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Santio. The El Pichu F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Santio should have stopped the shot. Adan Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benjamin Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Samuel Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Benjamin Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, El Pichu F.C.'s Adan Llope ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Lobo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Ramon Santikurtz made the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Lobo having to interfere. Benjamin Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Llope in the 53rd minute of the match. Samuel Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Orlando Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benjamin Lobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of MONSTERS booed when El Pichu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Jimeno Karmel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Santio skillfully saved the ball. Samuel Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Benjamin Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MONSTERS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Honorato Bernard hit a great ball. When Samuel Lope came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the El Pichu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Lope couldn't finish the play. El Pichu F.C.'s Orlando Llorenc got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Samuel Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Lobo having to interfere. A collision led to El Pichu F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Clodoveo Ubarna hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, MONSTERS's Jimeno Karmel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Santio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MONSTERS reached it. 93 minutes into the game, Jimeno Karmel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONSTERS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pichu F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, MONSTERS's Jimeno Karmel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that El Pichu F.C. were the better team. El Pichu F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
