In the 11th minute, Luciano Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Nicasio Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 14 in the game by Roberto Santana from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Madeo managed to make a qualified save. Corazuli AFC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Francisco Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Madeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Severo Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Madeo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Lonzo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Victoriano Garin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Garin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Águilas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victoriano Garin hit a great ball. Luciano Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artemio Quinton charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Haroldo Chesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severo Saturnin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Águilas Futbol Club booed when Corazuli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Francisco Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águilas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Lonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Águilas Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corazuli AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Sesuldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Águilas Futbol Club's Haroldo Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sesuldo in the 53rd minute of play. Haroldo Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Águilas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Sesuldo came free, but Haroldo Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Francisco Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águilas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Lonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Saturnin got free with Haroldo Chesus in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corazuli AFC's Cornelio Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Santana in the 84th minute of play. Roberto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Madeo having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Roberto Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águilas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
