Melchor Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Nabar having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Jerrald came free, but Saul Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Aquilino Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Troncos for ever FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Abasto FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Goi. In the 38th minute, Melchor Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Troncos for ever FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Saul Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Jerrald in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Melchor Pirro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Jerrald was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Troncos for ever FC booed when Abasto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Laurgain in the 62nd minute of the match. Saul Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's Santos Laurgain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Llope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abasto FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Troncos for ever FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fermin Ramone took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Tristan Colmano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 70 minutes into the match, Francisco Jerrald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Nabar. Abasto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Jerrald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Troncos for ever FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match Abasto FC got a corner. Troncos for ever FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Ramone ran over to the corner to take the kick. Melchor Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Abasto FC booed when Troncos for ever FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Troncos for ever FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Laurgain in the 82nd minute of play forced Troncos for ever FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goalkeeper Saul Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Pirro. In the 87th minute Francisco Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Abasto FC's Santos Laurgain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. If Baldomiro Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Llope came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Abasto FC's Santos Laurgain. But to his dismay, Santos Laurgain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
