The crowd rose to their feet as Bazán's Domingos Berdoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Sesuldo. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Fabricio Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Sesuldo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gareth Wilson in the 10th minute of play forced Mar del plata's goalkeeper Gerardo Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Berdoi got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gerardo Sesuldo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fabricio Luar in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gerardo Sesuldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th minute, Mar del plata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clodoveo Cordaryal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gerardo Sesuldo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 40th minute Domingos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabricio Luar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mar del plata's Maximiliano Amato got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Berdoi in the 51st minute of play forced Mar del plata's goalkeeper Gerardo Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Bazán's Clodoveo Cordaryal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Sesuldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Aurelio Mandara hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Gareth Wilson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mar del plata's Gerardo Sesuldo. Gerardo Sesuldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Sesuldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Luar's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Gerardo Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Luar in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Gareth Wilson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gerardo Sesuldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Clodoveo Cordaryal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gareth Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Sesuldo having to interfere. Maximiliano Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Domingos Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bazán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
