If Artemio Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ defense, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandez Villaelrriego. The Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandez Villaelrriego should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Castorena went to the cornerflag to take it. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Eustaquio Castorena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Campagnuolo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eustaquio Castorena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Campagnuolo having to interfere. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Fernandez Villaelrriego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Euloxu in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Xelo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xelo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Edgard Argenis hit a great ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Norberto-Doroteo Méndez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sportivo Luan Toro's Edgard Argenis got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Edgard Argenis off the ground. The supporters of Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Desiderio Figueroa replaced Artemio Euloxu. In the 47th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Argenis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xelo Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Campagnuolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel-Falcao García, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Villaelrriego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto-Doroteo Méndez in the 55th minute. In the 60th match minute, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemen Garantos to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Castorena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Campagnuolo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Gustavo Campagnuolo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Castorena went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gustavo Campagnuolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Bittor Adarzo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vicente Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Barto to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Leonides Burutzagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Radamel-Falcao García had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Campagnuolo. Sportivo Luan Toro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radamel-Falcao García was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Luan Toro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ.
