Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Skellerup FC's Kristjan Høgaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kåre Manley kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Fredric Lingren's late challenge caught a Skellerup FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Lingren helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmy Ståhlberg came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Harry Bergø. But to his dismay, Harry Bergø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Andréas Sundin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marius Tradsborg firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Rolf Bersner fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skellerup FC's protests and gave Rolf Bersner a yellow card for diving instead. Marius Tradsborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristjan Høgaard took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Ståhlberg. Jimmy Ståhlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Andréas Sundin took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marius Tradsborg to make any attempt to save it. Melchester Rovers's Andréas Sundin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Skellerup FC's Marius Tradsborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Allbom in the 33rd minute of play. Harry Bergø took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Ståhlberg. Jimmy Ståhlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 43rd minute Kristjan Høgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Terkild Lunn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skellerup FC and the Melchester Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, one of Skellerup FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skellerup FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andréas Sundin was the one to do the kick off. Marius Tradsborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marius Tradsborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Sundin in the 66th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Andréas Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Tradsborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes, Kent Carlberg made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Skellerup FC's Marius Tradsborg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Carlberg in the 95th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Marius Tradsborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melchester Rovers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
