In the 10th match minute, Torreoncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Uchiha to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goal looked a bit too open when Enmanuel Escerza came free, but Attilio Silveri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Enmanuel Escerza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torreoncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Enmanuel Escerza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Silveri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enmanuel Escerza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Atletico Benevento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Qi Guo Yue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Santarelli in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Enmanuel Escerza made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Enmanuel Escerza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Silveri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rufino Narea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wang Ying Yong was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Benevento's Ferruccio Paganelli got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Pedro Olguín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Attilio Silveri came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín. But to his dismay, Pedro Olguín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Torreoncito from getting a goal against them. A well-hit corner resulted in Jeremías Basabilvaso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Patryk Bryk hit a great ball. Qi Guo Yue was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andrea Andreola.
