The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when TiGrEs Fx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Matute didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Miguel Prosperi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Marcos who took care of the corner kick. TiGrEs Fx's Marcos Marcos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Branislav Velchevski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute, Gilberto Rancaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 83 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Suarez threw the ball into play from the sideline. TiGrEs Fx's Venceslao Espada quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by TiGrEs Fx's Gilberto Rancaño. But to his dismay, Gilberto Rancaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When TiGrEs Fx's Gilberto Rancaño in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Gilberto Rancaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal and Gilberto Rancaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
