Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) U.P. Gavellese's Alessio Volta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Florian Bulla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match U.P. Gavellese got a corner. FC Iecēni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Bulla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florian Bulla made a great header on U.P. Gavellese's corner, it was just that FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek managed to reach the ball for a save. Bruno Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viesturs Pilāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Freddie Vennerberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Piotr Tworek to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktors Behmans in the 10th minute of play forced U.P. Gavellese's goalkeeper Bruno Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Iecēni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leons Gudrenieks in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Iecēni's corner Uvis Svitiņš fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Mazza quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Viktors Behmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Tworek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Vennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Volta in the 20th minute of play. FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Iecēni from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek got control of the ball when Alessio Volta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Kaká came free, but Piotr Tworek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Freddie Vennerberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Piotr Tworek however easily saved by the left post. FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Iecēni from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, U.P. Gavellese's Florian Bulla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Piotr Tworek was a little too slow when Alessio Volta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Marek Hamšík made the kick off in the second half. Marek Hamšík in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Mazza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Iecēni's Marek Hamšík came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Bruno Mazza had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 57 minutes into the match, U.P. Gavellese's goalkeeper Bruno Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Hamšík. 60 minutes into the match, U.P. Ulysses Lucas replaced Alessio Volta. 81 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Bulla came free, but Piotr Tworek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, FC Iecēni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Hamšík to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulysses Lucas in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piotr Tworek saved FC Iecēni from getting behind. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Iecēni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florian Bulla was slow to take the kick. During this time U.P. Gavellese's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Florian Bulla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek did a great save. After 88 played minutes FC Iecēni got a freekick which was hit by Viktors Behmans. When Florian Bulla fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.P. Gavellese's protests and gave Florian Bulla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U.P. Gavellese's Florian Bulla got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Freddie Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bruno Mazza made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Marek Hamšík sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the U.P. Gavellese players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
