Anthon Delin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Șişman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Constantin Negru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anthon Delin firmly grabbed it by the left post. 25 minutes into the game, Purcaresti CSS's Valer Șişman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthon Delin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 31st match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Maghear to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Egon Flinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ştefan Vârlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Flock of Eagles's Anthon Delin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Stanciu in the 41st minute of play. Anthon Delin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Maghear in the 42nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Ferdinand Petre took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Anthon Delin to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vilhelm Kvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vilhelm Kvist hit a great ball. Ştefan Vârlan made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Vilhelm Kvist sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Purcaresti CSS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
