Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wiatr in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Zaremba came free, but Hugo Araya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Araya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Lundström in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Lundström in the 17th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Hugo Araya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Nyman in the 19th minute of play. Nicolás Tagliani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Svensson having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Concetto Mare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Svensson, 1-0. In the 35th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Ander Wallffiguer to maneuver through the defense. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wiatr in the 36th minute of play. Kjell Lundström took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Araya. Hugo Araya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonathan Ros got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rolando Melgarejo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Fotbollens Lakejer BK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Yngve Rönn hit a great ball. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Fotbollens Lakejer BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yngve Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Fredrik Vesterberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Concetto Mare made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Svensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Robert Wiatr fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotbollens Lakejer BK's protests and gave Robert Wiatr a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Araya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Gunnarsson in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Lundström in the 82nd minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Hugo Araya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Concetto Mare came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Mare couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Concetto Mare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Mare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Vesterberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Noé Saso's late challenge caught a Fotbollens Lakejer BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noé Saso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Noé Saso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zorros del Desierto players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
