Flavio Itzaina charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Itzaina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Yofré AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Batista came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aaron Mero could save by the left post. Nelson Cruz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes Yofré AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Gitano. After 18 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Tróia. Aaron Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Aaron Mero made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Daniel Bueno sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Mero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Batista went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Aaron Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Aparecido in the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ekzema F.V.'s Samuca Tróia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Mero. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Ceferino Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Daniel Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekzema F.V. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yofré AFC's zone, Jerônimo Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Mero came out of the goal and Jerônimo Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Aaron Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Monico got free with Norberto Barreto in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duda Vidal hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Norberto Barreto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabio Manex. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Novaes hit a great ball. When Ceferino Gitano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 92nd minute, one of Yofré AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yofré AFC. The referee gave Ekzema F.V. a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Fernando Novaes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yofré AFC's Aaron Mero. 4-0. Ekzema F.V. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yofré AFC for a fine match.
