The referee ignored SILMONT's protests and gave Brendan Cardot a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Brendan Cardot got a free kick in the 8th minute. Rayan Marx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hernan Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludovic Prudent hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Orlando Oroitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Orlando Oroitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Charlie Baque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramon Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Baque having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Salomon in the 26th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Charlie Baque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Min took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Cardot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Orlando Oroitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 36 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Fidencio. Nicolas Jaizki hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Oroitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charlie Baque made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Orlando Oroitz sent off a good shot on target. If Brendan Cardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Cardot in the 60th minute of play. Hernan Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Cardot in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Hautecœur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Oroitz made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SILMONT's Rayan Marx. 75 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Charlie Baque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Ponciano. After a defensive mix-up in SILMONT's zone, Ramon Salomon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Baque came out of the goal and Ramon Salomon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Cardot in the 88th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernan Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SILMONT's Charlie Baque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SILMONT from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Segundo Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SILMONT the free kick. SILMONT's Dave Cosnefroy was substituted for Jim Hautecœur. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Segundo Ponciano hit a great ball. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
