ROSÁRIO SPORT's Bruno Félix managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacobo Azubeli in the 21 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Sroki in the 22nd minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Jose Cordarell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 47 minutes on the clock, Diego Paranaense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. Léo Araújo replaced Sten Andrejević. Luiz Corrêa had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Cyprian Sroki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Möllgren to make the kick off. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadim Koçubey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Co Bayo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa. Alijilán returns walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
