Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Brazilio Butt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cascade Park West were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after DIF LEEDS BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dexter Benton took the corner. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Dahlquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Östen Hedin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Wilhelm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silviu Novac to strike the kick off in the second half. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Johnsson in the 51st minute. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Claude Joyner. But to his dismay, Claude Joyner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Hedin in the 56th minute of play. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Benton in the 58th minute of play. Dario Wilhelm was a little too slow when Silviu Novac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-2. Amir Lee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brazilio Butt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Johnsson in the 69th minute of play. Waldo Renteria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brazilio Butt having to interfere. DIF LEEDS BK's Jesper Larsson was substituted for Mei Jie Feng. In the 74th minute Dennis Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Silviu Novac took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Dario Wilhelm to make any attempt to save it. The DIF LEEDS BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DIF LEEDS BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
