Karel Cromefeldt took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greid Tinsmith. Greid Tinsmith dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute of the match Doffes Damer got a corner. Fauna Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pier Kopacz ran over to the corner to take the kick. 12 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Karel Cromefeldt came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Doffes Damer's Ian Finsberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Greid Tinsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Braa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Radamel Hendrickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doffes Damer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 28th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Braa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Braa in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radamel Hendrickx saved Fauna Utd from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match Doffes Damer got a corner. Fauna Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pier Kopacz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Doffes Damer's corner Pier Kopacz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Radamel Hendrickx quite easily take care of the ball. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Unai Sócrates had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greid Tinsmith. Doffes Damer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unai Sócrates was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Doffes Damer players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fauna Utd were winning 0-2.

Karel Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Sócrates in the 62nd minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith got control of the ball when Yuri Portugal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greg Barrera kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Doffes Damer's Andréas Stigsson was substituted for Greg Barrera. Doffes Damer's Ronaldo Cristi was substituted for Inge Braa. Doffes Damer's Carl Nordlander was substituted for Pier Kopacz. Greg Barrera hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Greid Tinsmith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Unai Sócrates in the 73rd minute. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Doffes Damer from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Fauna Utd defense, Ronaldo Cristi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. The Fauna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radamel Hendrickx should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Ronaldo Cristi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radamel Hendrickx was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 86th minute of play. If Karel Cromefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Radamel Hendrickx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fauna Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Doffes Damer.
