An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 6th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Milko got free with Vânderson Saa in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Milko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vânderson Saa having to make a save. Zé Carlos Madureira struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Vânderson Saa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. Vânderson Saa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Adán in the 16th minute of play. Cristiano Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Gamarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner. Arí Paraibano went to the cornerflag to take it. Brandon Norton made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Igor Milko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Boyd Kaufman hit a great ball. Arí Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Loyola to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Loyola. After having played with Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense Brandon Norton in the 50th minute fired away a shot at goal just outside the top left corner. A bit more spin and it would have been a certain goal. Vânderson Saa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brandon Norton in the 50th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Milko to strike the kick off in the second half. Tang Yang Le kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Milko in the 58th minute of play. Boyd Kaufman made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Vahit Ergüç. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Brandon Norton hit a great ball. Cristiano Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gojko Bešlić, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
