Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lluterio in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Mexico's Leonardo Tipi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Rosio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Emiliano Lluterio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Rosio. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Lluterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Emiliano Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Rosio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Tipi in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Tipi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Rosio. Leonardo Tipi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 25th minute, Carmelo Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Tipi. 27 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Handi came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Alonzo Niguel got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's Leonardo Tipi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Rosio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Hernandez came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s corner 马坚海 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael Furman quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Rosio was a little too slow when Leonardo Tipi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Leonardo Tipi might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Tipi ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Hernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Arsenio Canor got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Remigio Handi took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Ismael Furman to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's Ladislao Erramu was substituted for Leonardo Tipi. Paulo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Erramu in the 77th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Mikolas in the 78th minute. The corner led to Mexico's Arturo Espiridion getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Erramu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Silvestre Gonzo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Benjamin Mikolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 马坚海 to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Ladislao Erramu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Rosio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 92nd minute Ladislao Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
