Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Macia in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hinnerk Dietrich came free, but Albert Canyelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Hawk Football Club's Gerard Dalmau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Reinhard Baum in the 13 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Academica Pulheim defense, Pascual Macia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Heyckendorf. The Academica Pulheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Heyckendorf should have stopped the shot. Albert Canyelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hinnerk Dietrich in the 18th minute of play. Hinnerk Dietrich took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Canyelles. Albert Canyelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, Red Hawk Football Club's Pascual Macia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Heyckendorf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Macia in the 28th minute of play. Paul Heyckendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Macia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Pascual Macia took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Paul Heyckendorf to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Ahrem in the 41st minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Albert Canyelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Canyelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hinnerk Dietrich in the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hinnerk Dietrich to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ole Pankok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Canyelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Lineker, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Hinnerk Dietrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Canyelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Red Hawk Football Club from getting a goal against them. In the 66th match minute, Red Hawk Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joan Canosa to maneuver through the defense. Academica Pulheim's Sergio Ramos was substituted for Manuel Tiede. Red Hawk Football Club made a substitution. Aleix Rosanes replaced Carles Miramont. Red Hawk Football Club made a substitution. Ferran Planes replaced Jaume Vilardell. Joan Canosa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ramos in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mansilha came free, but Albert Canyelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Aleix Rosanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Kurt Ahrem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academica Pulheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Ahrem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Canyelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joan Canosa in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Macia in the 86th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hinnerk Dietrich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Albert Canyelles made a huge save. Albert Canyelles came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Zbigniew Setara. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Setara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Mateu in the 95th minute of play. Academica Pulheim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
