In the 18th minute Tzvetan Mudrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardi Jucknischke made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rolando Misael sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Tzvetan Mudrov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Omar Arnaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fractal FC the free kick. The supporters of Fractal FC booed when Glorioso Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Arnaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rolando Misael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hardi Jucknischke having to make a save. Hardi Jucknischke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Cibran, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Cibran in the 53rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Silvano Cibran made a precise shot to the right of Hardi Jucknischke. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
