Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edelmiro Inge took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Ellis Hoskin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Inge in the 9th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Tom Riddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Abraham Moon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Januário Rangel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Januário Rangel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Randolph Glover's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randolph Glover in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Glover in the 19th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randolph Glover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Randolph Glover might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Januário Rangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Randolph Glover ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randolph Glover in the 30th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Riddle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 36th minute. Australian Youth Academy's Tom Riddle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Boyd Allan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Inge was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After the first half Australian Youth Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joaquin Sedillo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 61st minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Tom Riddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Riddle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Maurício Meireles replaced Cassiano Peralta. Australian Youth Academy's Cesar Cornelius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Giannis Kouretzis in the 68 minute of the game. Randolph Glover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Januário Rangel made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Riddle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tom Riddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra in the 80th minute of play. After 87 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Palben. Cesar Cornelius hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Roach to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Riddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
