In a very dangerous position, a player in VINEIRO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the game, Elpidio Sengrat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VINEIRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regresado the free kick. When Vicente Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Regresado's protests and gave Vicente Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Abaunza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eusebio Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. VINEIRO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of VINEIRO FC booed when Regresado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Frechoso in the 30th minute of play forced Regresado's goalkeeper Osvaldo Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Tomi having to interfere. Osvaldo Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Toto Caputo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Foro in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Frechoso made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Criston in the 53rd minute of play forced Regresado's goalkeeper Osvaldo Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Eusebio Criston made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Tomi. Regresado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Criston in the 60th minute of play forced Regresado's goalkeeper Osvaldo Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Tomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Frechoso's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 80th minute, Atilano Foro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Tomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Frechoso's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Alejo Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. VINEIRO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Frechoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, VINEIRO FC's Elpidio Sengrat got a free kick in the 95th minute. Despite being the better team, VINEIRO FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
