Leandro Daneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Rolon in the 39th minute of play. If Clis Guerrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Clis Guerrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo City Torque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 47 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Bizi Saludes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Rolon made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Montevideo City Torque's Clis Guerrez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Daneri. Leandro Daneri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Leandro Daneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clis Guerrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner. Maiorga Beilzo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Montevideo City Torque's corner Maiorga Beilzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leandro Daneri quite easily take care of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Rolando Rolon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Daneri. Rolando Rolon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Leandro Daneri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. When Rolando Rolon came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Montevideo City Torque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Rolon couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Tanio Mascaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekain Piñeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montevideo City Torque's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
