Eustacio Gaitan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Alwin Känel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ismael Breogan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rainier Salaar went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the La Acade defense, Clint Wicky kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Breogan. The La Acade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Breogan should have stopped the shot. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ismael Breogan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Acade's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to La Acade getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ricardo Ferrer hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Dupasquier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Socorro in the 45th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alwin Känel to make the kick off. If Alwin Känel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Efraim hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Herminio Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Mehrtens having to interfere. Alwin Känel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ismael Breogan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute, Herminio Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Breogan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alwin Känel's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Alwin Känel came free, but Ismael Breogan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Clint Wicky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ämmer Sportfreaks's supporters rose to their feet, but Clint Wicky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Breogan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Alwin Känel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ämmer Sportfreaks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alwin Känel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fedor Hauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedor Hauser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ismael Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Metzger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Omar Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Ämmer Sportfreaks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes La Acade got a freekick which was hit by Omar Gutierrez. After a rather tough play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Clint Wicky got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Omar Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Mehrtens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ämmer Sportfreaks played a much better game than La Acade and deserved their victory. The La Acade players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
