The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Durval Rossi. Tytus Frenzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Martins in the 5th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Bartlomiej Serwacki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fúria Futebol Clube the free kick. Michal Zagrodny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Tytus Frenzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Martins in the 24th minute. Michal Zagrodny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witold Budzynski's late challenge caught a Fúria Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Budzynski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fúria Futebol Clube booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Budzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Nóbrega came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tytus Frenzel could save by the left post. After 42 played minutes KS Olimpia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Kajdasz. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tytus Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Fernandes in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michal Zagrodny to strike the kick off in the second half. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fúria Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. If Hortêncio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Zagrodny. Tytus Frenzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Witold Budzynski got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Witold Budzynski off the ground. After a rather tough play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Witold Budzynski got a free kick in the 73rd minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Szczepan Fedosz was substituted for Szczepan Kajdasz. In the 74th minute, Witold Budzynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Durval Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Tytus Frenzel. KS Olimpia Warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The throw-in from Miroslaw Grondzki in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fúria Futebol Clube's Durval Rossi. Bartlomiej Serwacki was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Martins in the 95th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tytus Frenzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
