Augusto Di Paolo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlad Voican. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Di Paolo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Amedeo Cesaroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Boca Jrs's Diego Tassotti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save CA Boca Jrs from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Aurelio Scirea suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Eric Hulubei charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Hulubei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Eric Hulubei got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cristiano Marzulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Cozorici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Diego Tassotti made a huge save. After 38 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Manuel Cozorici made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Tassotti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Tassotti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Cozorici went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.

A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Amedeo Cesaroni hit a great ball. After 77 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Manuel Cozorici made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Tassotti was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Florin Darabonț made a precise shot to the right of Diego Tassotti. CA Boca Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Paolini in the 83rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Boteanu. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them.
