When Niklas Kilstedt fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blåränderna's protests and gave Niklas Kilstedt a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Blåränderna got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Kilstedt. Luiz Fábio Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Olof Bergren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Tony Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blåränderna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Blåränderna's Olof Bergren got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Blåränderna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Hafström charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Hafström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Tony Hafström got a free kick in the 28th minute. Olof Bergren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Lima's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hafström in the 30th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Nestor Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Lima in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olof Bergren saved Blåränderna from getting behind. A hard shot 35 in the game by Maicon Quadros from a close distance when the talented Olof Bergren managed to make a qualified save. Blåränderna's players were relieved. The supporters of Blåränderna booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Casper Andersson hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio Lima was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marius Pașcanu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Robert Stål got a free kick in the 51st minute. Olof Bergren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tony Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blåränderna's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Hafström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Paulão Salgado hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Luiz Fábio Lima put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olof Bergren. Nestor Carioca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marius Pașcanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 63 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Bergren. Blåränderna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fábio Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Barrenta SC's Marquinhos Messias was substituted for Paulo Mello. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Danilo Nóbrega hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Maicon Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Olof Bergren. Blåränderna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 87 minutes into the match, Blåränderna's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Lima came free, but Olof Bergren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Pașcanu in the 89th minute of the match. Evandro Vaz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Olof Bergren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrenta SC. Olof Bergren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Lima in the 94th minute of the match. Casper Andersson's late challenge caught a Barrenta SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Andersson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Luiz Fábio Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Bergren was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Barrenta SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
