Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Dino Maquiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Mitchell having to interfere. In the 8th minute Dino Maquiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Homer Diggs kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. If Olaf Kochowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Mitchell came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Olaf Kochowski. But to his dismay, Olaf Kochowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Santos FC's Jim Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 24th minute of play. Leon Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Dino Maquiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Kickers United's Dino Maquiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Kris Marks got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jim Mitchell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Olaf Kochowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Mitchell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Santos FC's Jim Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Dino Maquiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Mitchell. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Maquiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Santos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kickers United were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Reijnders to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Reijnders came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bart Greenwood during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Maquiano got free with Jim Mitchell in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Jorge Reijnders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Jim Mitchell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Reijnders scored 0-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Mitchell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys was substituted for Jorge Reijnders. After 72 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Maxwell. Lode Rouvroys took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Mitchell. Jim Mitchell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Jim Mitchell made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lode Rouvroys sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Tracey Dolan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Dino Maquiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Mitchell came out of the goal and Dino Maquiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim Mitchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Höijer in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Kickers United's Dino Maquiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Lode Rouvroys who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Jim Mitchell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Kickers United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santos FC.
