The crowd rose to their feet as Yeray Saul kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Leandro Daneri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haruna Hassan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Zeca Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leandro Daneri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan-Matias Calleri in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Daneri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, El Eterno Campeón's goal looked a bit too open when Haruna Hassan came free, but Leandro Daneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Esteves during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Esteves. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jonathan-Matias Calleri hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Yeray Saul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanio Mascaro was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan-Matias Calleri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leandro Daneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanio Mascaro went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Zeca Esteves notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri. Leandro Daneri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan-Matias Calleri struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Leandro Daneri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. Jonathan-Matias Calleri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Leandro Daneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Soeiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save El Eterno Campeón from getting a goal against them. El Eterno Campeón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Haruna Hassan scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Daneri, making the score, 2-3. Zeca Esteves hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Leandro Daneri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan-Matias Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haruna Hassan in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over XV de Piracicaba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Eterno Campeón throughout the match.
