Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Otávio Valadares kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Mans's Anthony Cavalier got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mans's Ilan Saudrais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Veiga in the 5th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Roland Ageorges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dênis Paulista. Espigão Steamrollers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Ageorges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Kevin Signoret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veiga came free, but Ilan Saudrais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ilan Saudrais made a huge save. Ilan Saudrais made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Breno Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Anthony Cavalier's late challenge caught a Espigão Steamrollers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Cavalier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Cavalier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilan Saudrais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Jairo Veiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dênis Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ageorges in the 44th minute of play. When Rachid Thibout came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rachid Thibout couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Ageorges made a kick off. Dênis Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Signoret went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anthony Cavalier hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Roland Ageorges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dênis Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Bonnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ageorges in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Romário Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veiga came free, but Ilan Saudrais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Veiga struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ilan Saudrais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espigão Steamrollers. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Espigão Steamrollers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
