CAI NEUQUEN's Rodrigo Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Lucchetta in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Bruno Rosati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eraldo Lucchetta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montechiarugolo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Lucchetta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Lalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Lalla came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Montechiarugolo AFC's Attilio Cavanna. But to his dismay, Attilio Cavanna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Cavanna got free with Rodrigo Lalla in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14thth minute of the game Teo Kismi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montechiarugolo AFC's Domenico Tenaglia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when Montechiarugolo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Masetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Cavanna got free with Rodrigo Lalla in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domenico Tenaglia came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by CAI NEUQUEN's Teo Kismi. But to his dismay, Teo Kismi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Domenico Tenaglia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Kismi in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Mauricio Eguntsenti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montechiarugolo AFC's Domenico Tenaglia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Tacco in the 30th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Eztebe hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Francesco Tacco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Lalla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Cavanna was the one to do the kick off. Teo Kismi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Domenico Tenaglia made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Attilio Cavanna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Lalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Francesco Tacco scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Lalla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Attilio Cavanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Tacco took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Lalla. Rodrigo Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Eztebe during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CAI NEUQUEN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Eztebe hit a great ball. Justo Lesardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CAI NEUQUEN! In the 85th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Orlo to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, CAI NEUQUEN's Teo Kismi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonello Masetti during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Antonello Masetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Baruffa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Tacco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Baldomero Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAI NEUQUEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Panfilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Tenaglia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montechiarugolo AFC fully deserved thier win.
