Spectators: 8139 (Terracing: 6105, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 162) Jesus Carriedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With an all-out effort, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Jorrin Artiz threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okke Manda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 12 played minutes Couto Mixto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel De la Rosa. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when Couto Mixto F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palle Irø didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Jesus Carriedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Arribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haritz Cullar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bonifaco Villalcazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Onofre Masas. With 47 minutes on the clock, Rosario Serrano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Rosario Serrano hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Igor Valdivia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Palle Irø to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the game, Giraldo Crespo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 55 minutes into the game, Onofre Masas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.D Punta Ballena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Couto Mixto F.C. the free kick. Couto Mixto F.C. made a substitution. Mazuste Barberá replaced Giraldo Crespo. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Onofre Masas hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Igor Valdivia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.S.D Punta Ballena's Jorrin Artiz. Jorrin Artiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Onofre Masas came free, but Isidro Arribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Haritz Cullar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the C.S.D Punta Ballena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haritz Cullar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Okke Manda got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Okke Manda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorrin Artiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palle Irø, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Couto Mixto F.C. were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after C.S.D Punta Ballena's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Okke Manda took the corner. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Okke Manda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorrin Artiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th minute, Okke Manda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorrin Artiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Couto Mixto F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
