Panait Marghescu started the match with the kick off. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Marghescu in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Panait Marghescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Dario Hussain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Beraru was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Panait Marghescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Constantino Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Platense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Adan Menendo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Beraru. Codrin Beraru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Martin Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Arseni in the 25th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Menendo in the 28th minute of play. Paralia Athens's Silviu Filimon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teodoro Honrio in the 30 minute of the game. In the 35th minute Dario Hussain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Beraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Hernán Leandro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Codrin Beraru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Martin Arseni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Paralia Athens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leon Platense were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Dario Hussain made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Hernán Leandro could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Codrin Beraru however easily saved by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Constantino Anaya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Codrin Beraru, 1-5. Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Leon Platense's Gaafar Carrillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Leon Platense made a substitution. Klaas Alberts replaced Alfonso Kemen. 70 minutes into the game, Martin Arseni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick. Martin Arseni hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Codrin Beraru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Hussain. Codrin Beraru was a little too slow when Gaafar Carrillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-7. Hernán Leandro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Codrin Beraru made a huge save. In the 81st minute Panait Marghescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Beraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Beraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernán Leandro in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute, Paralia Athens's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernán Leandro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Codrin Beraru managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Leon Platense's Dario Hussain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leon Platense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
