After a defensive mix-up in VERDE NILO's zone, C.J. La Marca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Montini came out of the goal and C.J. La Marca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Policarpio Lukaschewski in the 11th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Jano França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Echavarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fedele Montini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, VERDE NILO's Fedele Montini got control of the ball when George Echavarri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Quin Camaño made a precise shot to the right of Fedele Montini. VERDE NILO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jano França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Román, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VERDE NILO's Fedele Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by C.J. La Marca in the 27th minute of play. VERDE NILO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Quin Camaño scored to the left of an out of position Fedele Montini, making the score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling C.J. La Marca in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UE Cornella's Aurre Villa was substituted for Quin Camaño. The supporters of VERDE NILO booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Abelardo Román shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.J. La Marca took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Montini. Fedele Montini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 80 minutes into the game, George Echavarri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fedele Montini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's C.J. La Marca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Montini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, UE Cornella's C.J. La Marca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Montini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. C.J. La Marca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurre Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Román scored 7-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jano França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If C.J. La Marca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from C.J. La Marca, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, VERDE NILO's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. La Marca came free, but Fedele Montini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the UE Cornella players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
