The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Igor Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Delbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Furtado in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Martin Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Delbridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roland Delbridge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13thth minute of the game Igor Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini sped through Santa Margarita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgil Van Dijcke. Witomir Pisarczyk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Virgil Van Dijcke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Guerrero in the 25th minute of play. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Virgil Van Dijcke as he didn't even see the shot coming. Igor Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Roland Delbridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Furtado to make the kick off. Roland Delbridge made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Martin Guerrero sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Igor Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Los Muchachos del 86's Saverio Brion in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Martin Guerrero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Roland Delbridge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 71 minutes into the game, Los Muchachos del 86's Saverio Brion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Van Dijcke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. Los Muchachos del 86's Marco Maurino was substituted for Ladislao Constancio. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Bernardino Bernal replaced Saverio Brion. Asiz Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Martin Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Delbridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Muchachos del 86's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
