Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Matthew started the match with the kick off. Agnaldo Lara's late challenge caught a Águilas Poblanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Lara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Agnaldo Lara hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Matthew came free, but Juan dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Palben. Saverio Chuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Lenzi in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Osoro during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Bruno Lenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Lenzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Chuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saverio Chuse. Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Zeledon Matthew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Lenzi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Chuse saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Águilas Poblanas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oswaldo Recife took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Falcão made a kick off. Leonardo Estavan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Águilas Poblanas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FALCÕES VERDES:s goal. In the 55th minute Bruno Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Mannie in the 58th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Águilas Poblanas! Rubens de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Falcão in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Chuse saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marcial Mannie hit a great ball. Saverio Chuse came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FALCÕES VERDES's Bruno Lenzi. But to his dismay, Bruno Lenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Benjamin Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Chuse having to interfere. Bruno Lenzi took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Chuse. Saverio Chuse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Saverio Chuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Falcão in the 98th minute of the match. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Lenzi in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FALCÕES VERDES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Águilas Poblanas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
