In the 9th minute, Marco Assendelft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Tilea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Academia Rio defense, Marco Assendelft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Tilea. The Academia Rio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Tilea should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Cornel Poplăcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Marco Assendelft's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Tilea was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Marco Assendelft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Assendelft in the 22nd minute of play. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Assendelft in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match - HULKAS - got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pontus Granlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Abdulbaki Kadıoğlu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Academia Rio defense, Marco Assendelft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Tilea. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by - HULKAS -'s Marco Assendelft. But to his dismay, Marco Assendelft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 37 minutes into the game, Marco Assendelft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Marco Assendelft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marco Assendelft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute Marco Assendelft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Assendelft scored 0-8 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Tilea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Assendelft made a kick off. Gigel Tilea stood somewhat misplaced when Marco Assendelft came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 52 minute. Ronaldão Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gigel Tilea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Marco Assendelft made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 67 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Bey came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Orhan Bey sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, - HULKAS -'s Orhan Bey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Tilea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ke Qi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Nedelciu in the 74th minute of the match. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by - HULKAS -'s Orhan Bey. But to his dismay, Orhan Bey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 81 minutes into the game, Orhan Bey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd match minute, - HULKAS - was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Franco to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Tilea made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Orhan Bey sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orhan Bey. In the 87th minute, Orhan Bey made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. 93 minutes into the match, - HULKAS -'s goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Poplăcan came free, but Ke Qi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. - HULKAS -'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
