Paulo José da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tomas Piearres made a huge save. Tomas Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Neves in the 4th minute of the match. Paulo José da Costa scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Piearres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Natã Neves made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Piearres. Paso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 18 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Salgado. Paso FC's Tomas Piearres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Paulo-Henrique Ganso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Piearres. The goal made the score 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Paulo José da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Piearres. Paso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo José da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 34th minute, Carlos Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paulo-Henrique Ganso fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ique Football Club's protests and gave Paulo-Henrique Ganso a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Cresitobalo came free, but Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Paulo-Henrique Ganso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tomas Piearres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Pascual Rito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Paso FC's Pascual Rito got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tomas Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ique Football Club's Luciano Vasconcelos was substituted for Noel Tavares. When the referee ended the match the Ique Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
