With a little luck, Szczakowianka's Zula Kosiorek got control of the ball when Nicolas Roland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Zula Kosiorek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Roland. Vélez Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Luzaide in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Roland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zula Kosiorek. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Nicolas Roland struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zula Kosiorek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vélez Juniors. Elpidio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Perkowski in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Yan Chen Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Gitano Adán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedykt Perkowski scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Vitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Melchor Napier got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Eguzki in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Vitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Szczakowianka made a substitution. Wladyslaw Magdziarz replaced Leo Eguzki. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Benedykt Perkowski made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Benedykt Perkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience was convinced that Cristian Naike's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zula Kosiorek was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Voldfrom in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zula Kosiorek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Vitin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donald Voldfrom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 84 minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Szczakowianka defense, Cristian Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zula Kosiorek. The Szczakowianka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zula Kosiorek should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Chen Yan during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Yan Chen Yan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Szczakowianka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
