The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Szekeres in the 7th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Furia Calamar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Meng Mo Yi hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Ionuț Jităreanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Hanot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, STORM CORNER F.C.'s György Szekeres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Hanot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Hanot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kaan Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhold Artmaier in the 19th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Reinhold Artmaier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STORM CORNER F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that György Szekeres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Hanot was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. György Szekeres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Daniel Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. STORM CORNER F.C.'s György Szekeres got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krisztián Lisztes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when György Szekeres came free, but Daniel Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. György Szekeres was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match STORM CORNER F.C. got a corner. Furia Calamar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionuț Jităreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Hanot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Szekeres in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Furia Calamar's zone, Ionuț Jităreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Hanot came out of the goal and Ionuț Jităreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Ionuț Jităreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furia Calamar's Malcolm Hellqvist was substituted for Benicio Gipuzkoa. After 65 minutes Furia Calamar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Jităreanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Furia Calamar's goalie and right to Krisztián Lisztes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Furia Calamar's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Conrado Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Cornelio Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STORM CORNER F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ede Szász was substituted for György Szekeres. Daniel Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ede Szász, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Isidoro Gitano made a precise shot to the right of Kaan Winter. STORM CORNER F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Malcolm Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Bartolo Ferdinand got a free kick in the 94th minute. STORM CORNER F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
