An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 12th minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Jesus Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ovidio Favila took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Georgi Velinov to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Ieltxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nemesio Lobo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes GUSESI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Georgi Dimitrov who took care of the corner kick. Georgi Dimitrov made a great header on FC CSKA's corner, it was just that GUSESI's Jesus Ieltxu managed to reach the ball for a save. If Ahmet Refik Ülgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GUSESI's Liu Ran Peng got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik Ülgü came free, but Jesus Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Ahmet Refik Ülgü had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Ieltxu. GUSESI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Refik Ülgü was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 39th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Ieltxu. GUSESI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Nemesio Lobo's late challenge caught a FC CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. Nemesio Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ren Yan Qing during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ren Yan Qing to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Favila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Ran Peng in the 51st minute of play. Liu Ran Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georgi Velinov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. FC CSKA were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after GUSESI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georgi Dimitrov took the corner. At last the ball reached Tenyo Fakirov at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of GUSESI. 1-4. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ahmet Refik Ülgü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GUSESI's Jesus Ieltxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Rego in the 76th minute of play. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Rego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Téo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC CSKA's Ruslan Dzhalev was substituted for Ahmet Refik Ülgü. In the 84th minute, Tenyo Fakirov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Téo Vieira hit a great ball. Jesus Ieltxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruslan Dzhalev went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Ruslan Dzhalev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The FC CSKA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
