After some careless play in the Jovens Democratas MZC defense, Baba Moco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Saldanha should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baba Moco in the 11th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Rohrer in the 16th minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Charlie Vandamme sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C were awarded a corner. Charlie Vandamme went to the cornerflag to take it. Ferreirinha dos Santos made a great header on UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's corner, it was just that Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha managed to reach the ball for a save.
