In the 8th minute, Horácio Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Galtero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Perico got free with Emanuel Podgoreanu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Perico kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 12thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's keeper Emanuel Podgoreanu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jose Eleder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Podgoreanu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Garcia in the 21st minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yves Ayral hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Jose Eleder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Esteve Perico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Podgoreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteve Perico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Anastasio Mendebal took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Emanuel Podgoreanu to make any attempt to save it. Esteve Perico struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Emanuel Podgoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loco Cabezon. In the 47th minute of the match Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a corner. Loco Cabezon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Abajas was the one to do the kick off. Leonides Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero got control of the ball when Horácio Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Perico in the 63rd minute of play. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Eliseo Abechuco replaced Cyprian Trochowski. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Rosendo Gervaso was substituted for Yves Ayral. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Blas Guzman was substituted for Horácio Garcia. In the 66th minute of the game Cesar Mercurio made a throw-in which Nemesio Opilano played forward. 70 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Taci Ulusoy came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Gervaso in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Guzman got free with Leonides Galtero in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Abechuco in the 77th minute of the match. Leonides Galtero made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Blas Guzman sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Leonides Galtero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Guzman in the 91st minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
