Narciso Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pierres in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Paulo Pierres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Narciso Oinatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raúl Navarro's late challenge caught a Guanacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Raúl Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Mendebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Mitxaut came free, but Marcial Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Denis Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Pello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Rami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Orlandus having to make a save. Tomás Rami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Orlandus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Chorroarín were awarded a corner. Antonio Diegotxe went to the cornerflag to take it. Narciso Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Guillermo Mitxaut made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chorroarín's Eustacio Romero got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Sanchez in the 57th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Narciso Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Oinatz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Danilo Sanchez. But to his dismay, Danilo Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With his leg Narciso Oinatz managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Guanacos's Paulo Pierres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chorroarín's Godofredo Gilen was substituted for Antonio Diegotxe. Chorroarín's Timoteo Arotza was substituted for Guillermo Mitxaut. Antonio Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With his leg Narciso Oinatz managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Guanacos's Paulo Pierres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Raúl Navarro with Sixto Aragones as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Chorroarín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubén Vilchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chorroarín's Narciso Oinatz got control of the ball when Angelino Clemencin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
